How will I interact with the Simulated Patients (SPs) in a virtual setting?
This is a simulated exam that follows the format of the standard Standardized Patient Exam, except it will be administered using a video conferencing system. The timing for the encounters and interactions will be roughly the same as in-person with one major exception: the physical exam and exam results will be completed verbally.
How will my Step 2 CS practice exam performance be evaluated?

Step 3 eligibility requirements, are:
- Passing scores on Step 1 and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge, and
- An MD degree or DO degree from an LCME- or COCA-accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school, or
- The equivalent of the MD degree from a medical school outside the U.S. and Canada that is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools as meeting ECFMG eligibility requirements, and obtain ECFMG Certification.

Why are high scores so important ?
Program Directors primarily use USMLE scores and number of exam attempts to narrow the list of Residency candidates to interview.
